The ancient religion often used triangular charms and amulets. They found that triangles create a sense of mystery. The sides of the triangle represents the cycle of life - birth, maturity and death, which represent a balance. Therefore it is bad to break the shape of a balanced triangle.

The ancient Egyptians used the shape of the triangle in the building of the pyramids. Many people till today regards the pyramids as an auspicious symbol, even though pyramids houses the dead.

The French considered triangles as unlucky shape. They believe the devil lurks in any cross road or fields with only three sides.

Another famous unlucky triangle is the Bermuda Triangle, also known as the Devil’s Triangle. This is a region of the northwestern Atlantic Ocean where a number of aircraft and surface vessels have disappeared in circumstances that is beyond the boundaries of human error or acts of nature. Some of these disappearances have been attributed to the paranormal, a suspension of the laws of physics, or activity by extraterrestrial beings by popular culture.
